Morning arrival: Doors open at 8.40am so children can head straight to their classrooms, where staff are ready, and morning learning is available. All children must be in school by 8.45am.
Punctuality expectations: Arrivals between 8.45am and 9.15am are marked as Late before registers close (L code). Arrivals after 9.15am receive a Late after registers close mark (U code), which affects overall attendance. We contact parents if lateness becomes a pattern so we can understand any issues and offer support.
Official start and finish: The school day runs from 8.45am to 3.15pm.
Parent communication: Staff are available for brief conversations at both drop‑off and pick‑up.
Wraparound care: Offord Day Nursery staff bring breakfast‑club children directly to school staff in the morning and collect after‑school‑club children at 3.15pm.
